So I created this blog only to be able to reply to a friends blog. As you can see it was created back in November and it's taken me this long to write my first entry. I hope this is not a sign of things to come and I'm going to be one of those bloggers that updates on a bi-annual basis......those people drive me crazy!!!
So what better way to start than to post my favorite picture of myself and C....we were at a friends wedding in Smyrna, Georgia about 3 years ago when this picture was taken. I love the word Smyrna it just rolls of the tongue.
I never realized back then what a jewel in the rough I had found. I'm just suprised that no one else found my jewel and kept it for their own. But I guess it was meant for me to find it and I kept it.
Wow do you see how thin I was back then, I know, I know don't go on about weight but how can anyone ignore it....my arm was like a stair rail, for petes sake!!! I still have that green dress, and I still have the memories from that trip, though my memories and C's vary. His version has me consuming too many beverages aided by a very friendly bar man who encouraged me to try every mixed drink he'd just learnt at bar tending school and finishing the night by worshipping the porcelain gods!!!! My version has C driving and driving from NY to GA as I slowling fell into unconciousness only to be awoken by C screaming....."Did you see that flying cow....did you see it...did you see that black and white flying cow." My reply..."No sweetie I didn't see it....but how about we pull off at the next rest stop and get some sleep!!!" (It was a bill board for Gateway)
