Off to a bad day:I wanted to go away for the weekend...it's Labor Day Weekend after all. Fun to be had by all right....Since when did a one night hotel stay run over $100??? Have I not stayed in a hotel in that long...or was the discount that C's cousin gave us that good!!
I wanted to spend the weekend in CT like we used to...there's this Indian Restaurant that we wanted to go to again, so what if we don't remember where it is or what town it was in...we still wanted to go! LOL
Baby C started sweet potatoes today...she doesn't seem too impressed though...but maybe they'll grow on her. She enjoyed the peaches the last few days.
The weather is miserable and baby C has nothing but summer clothes busting out the seems of her closet...we had to make a BJ's run last night just to get her something to keep the chill off!!
I haven't sent my god son a present in forever maybe years...I feel guilty and a bad parent. I haven't even met him and he's SIX already!!! I got pictures of him last night in the mail. I bathed Baby C and fed her and started to put her to sleep so I could enjoy opening the mail...as soon as I tore the envelope Baby C's eyed popped wide open...so we enjoyed them together. My god son Baby E is so handsome, with a perfect shaped face, a beautiful caramel color and the cutest smile, he has pursed lips like his mommy. He looks like an angel but I have no clue if he acts like an angel.
I text messaged C and told him "We're not going anywhere we're staying home for Labor Day"...he said "I sounded like I'd lost my best friend and that life’s not over we can still have fun again...like the old days."
I just want to find a decent priced hotel in CT and I'll be fine...but it can't be a ghetto place either!! I know beggars can't be choosers right? Well I can beg and choose thank you!! LOL I like the Marriott Hotel chain...no matter where you go the quality is always the same it's not a guessing game as to whether it will be run down or not.
Aghhhhhhh....maybe the sun will come out tomorrow...tomorrow...Sing it Annie!!!
Oh lord it's 12 noon I have to run and feed baby C...how do I forget something like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Girl, you are too much. LOL. I have to admit though, you had me all over the map with this post. But I know, that's just how the brain works sometimes. And at times those "workings" just fall out of our mouths (well our fingers if we're posting on a blog). I hope you guys do get to go somewhere for the long weekend. Getaways are always fun!!! Thanks for sharing. And NO, you life is NOT over...SMILE.
