Weekend Wrap Up

My closet still isn't changed over but the weather most certainly has...

I usually enjoy all seasons but this morning I didn't care much for the cold...but who am I to complain.

We had friends/family over this weekend to carve pumpkins...it was one of those feel good moments seeing the kids dig the guts out the pumpkins...

Then the adults get suckered into doing the actual carving...but it's memories being made...memories we hope they pass on to their young one when they have them...

Baby C paid her $1 and dressed up in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness....I feel I should have done more after watching a friend do a 3 day walk for Breast Cancer Awareness...maybe next year Baby C and I can both do a walk.

Last night was one of those stay in and bonding moments...Big C scored a thick wooden long side table at a yard sale for $3 and a new bike for Baby C for $15 ...we dragged the table to the basement and used it to make Thank You cards... She managed to get 6 people to order Girl Scout Mags&Munchies this year... I was totally surprised as it was one of those mass emails that I sent it just because not really expecting much at all...but she sold $150 worth of Magazines and Snacks.

So naturally I always encourage her to say Thank You and re mind her that people don't HAVE to support her at all, so the least we can do is say "Thank You"

I actually blew the dust off the cricut machine and let her use it to make her simple but cute little cards..and she patiently sat and wrote in each card.
