Don't sleep on Robin Thicke

In the words of Mari...I have definitely been sleeping on Robin Thicke that's for sure has anyone else been sleeping????

When I heard his song...I was upstairs my husband was downstairs and I started screaming....and he ran upstairs thinking something was wrong (I know that was wrong but I couldn't help it).

He asked me if I knew who he was...of course I had no idea and he filled me in on his history and then he downloaded other songs for me by him...but this is by far the best one!!!

  2. Ok, I give...who is he? His last name is familiar, but I'm not sure he's related to who I'm thinking about.
But I must admit, the song is HOT! Guess I'll be dowloading that from Limewire tonight :-). I think he's also got a song out with Lil Wayne.

  3. FOLLOW UP: Ok, I just did a search on Mr. Thicke and he IS who I thought he was. I use to watch his cute little daddy as the father on Growing Pains (Alan Thicke). And as I mentioned, the song is now downloading onto my computer from LimeWire :-).

  5. Sorry to burst your bubble but what was all the screaming for? Yes, his voice is nice in a boyish kind of way but nothing to the likes of Gerald Levert or my love forever Prince. I guess it is a generation thing between you and me. LOL!!!

  6. You have now become one of those hated people that embeds annoying music on their blog.

    Yuck.

And when I say annoying, I don't care if its Prince - I hate opening a web page and being assaulted by audio - esp. at work. :P

  7. When I heard his first song "I wanna love you" it was cool. But his CD is the bomb. I love this man and his music. His sound is different. I can put his CD in and just ride...

  8. Girl, I'm feeling Robin Thicke!! I downloaded his album onto my iPod last night. A definite must have for any music lover's collection! By the way, did you know he's married to Paula Patton, the actress in Deja Vu with Denzel?

  12. If any of the people who visit your blog hate on me, they are silly. My comments are always honest and loving Prince or Gerald Levert does not make me old. I love new artists too like Casting Crowns and other Christian groups that you have no clue about. Okay, so this is the deal: you introduce me to decent secular music and I will open your world to the joy of Christian music. Deal? This invitation is to the haters also... sent in love. LOL!!
