A friend/co worker of mine just had a little boy two weeks ago. I call him Peanut Patrick as he's soooo tiny.
I'm going to visit her and Peanut this week and of course I asked her if there was anything I could bring. Of course she said "NO" and I had to harass her into telling me something so she mentioned Peanut didn't have a swim suit yet for the summer.
Baby C and I combated the rain last night to run to Target to pick up the tiniest swim suit I've ever seen.
Of course just as we were about to check out Baby C pulls out the 4 year old joker card and exclaims that she has to use the bathroom and she begins to do that pee pee dance, the dance that you never know if it's literally coming down her leg as she's dancing or if you still have time to make the mad dash!!!
We made the mad dash and all was well, but on the way back to get back in line, I spotted this at the dollar spot:
And the cogs in my head started turning and blowing the dust off themselves, as I thought of the cutest idea.
When I got home I neatly folded the tiny swim suit and placed in the bucket like so:
I then grabbed a roll of clear wrap that I had and found recycled blue tie thing:
and VOILA
Not sure if you remember but Peanut Patricks older brother Andrew and Baby C have been the cutest of friends from before they could walk....
They barely see each other, maybe twice a year but every single time they get together it's as if they didn't miss a beat. No matter how many kids there are at either of their birthdays they always seem to end up sitting next to each other some how!
I actually can't believe how much taller Baby C is than Andrew wow!!!
GREAT idea for wrapping up pool gear. I may just have to borrow that idea! Too cute.
ReplyDelete:)
I keep hearing the song, "People let me tell you bout my best friend -- a warm hearted person who will love you til the end........"
ReplyDeleteAww what a cute post, well except for the bathroom run. Glad you made it.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed this wonderful and warm post. I see you have changed your blog furniture as well. Looks nice.
ReplyDeleteKids always do seem to smile when they are next to another in pictures, don't they?
Too funny @ and she begins to do that pee pee dance, the dance that you never know if it's literally coming down her leg as she's dancing or if you still have time to make the mad dash!!!
I think we all have learned this day once upon a time. Ha!
