I'm also helping my aunt put together a birthday party for my uncles 65th and yet I haven't even sent out the thank you cards from my own daughters 2nd birthday party.
But I felt compelled to make a post today after watching the NBC Today Show this morning and they had a segment on something I've posted on before the importance of Infant Swimming.
Baby C LOVES her swim class so far and asks for her instructor ALL the way home after each class.
So if you haven't done so already PLEASE don't wait for the weather to be perfect go sign your child up now!

I can't wait to have babies... little swimming babies!
ReplyDeletehi melanie!
ReplyDeleteso glad you had a nice visit with your mom...Baby C looks so cute in her birthday dress!
Swimming--I totally agree!
my sister and i were just discussing this topic. her daughter is 3 and mine is 15 months. i'm trying to find some affordable swimming lessons--perhaps the YMCA.
ReplyDeleteI saw this on the Today show this morning. Awesome, everyone should learn how to swim, I'm glad Baby C likes her swim lessons. She will truly appreciate that one day!!
ReplyDeleteI hope the party planning goes well, and you know what? Even kids who KNOW how to swim need to be watched! Lincoln jumped in over Mother's Day at a party and it was like he forgot to swim... thankfully an adult was there when he said, "Um, Help me please!" Then he was fine, but man, it freaked me out!!
ReplyDeleteYou can never encourage child safety too often. Baby C is a fortunate child to have a mommy who will arm her with survival skills.
ReplyDeleteI know, I know... I really need to sign her up for swimming lessons. Keep after me okay?
ReplyDeleteAdorable pics, I know she had a wonderful birthday!
take your time. i personally stop by your page @ least twice a week. i enjoy your writing and your ability to convey a story.
ReplyDeletei've always head that infant swimming was popular. i once tried it with my daughters. funniest thing ever seeing that look on her face. LOL.
You are sooo right! Our baby girl nearly drowned Labor Day 2007 and ever since then, I have touted the importance of infant swimming.
ReplyDeleteMel. I was wondering when you were going to post again. Welcome back. I hope you had a wonderful visit with your mum.
