Normally when you ask a child what they did in school they always tell you "Nothing Much".
I finally learnt to ask Baby C "What was the highlight of your day?" and "What was the low point of your day?" It seems to work perfectly every time.
But every once in a while I see evidence that she actually is learning something in school.
Please see evidence below....it shows her selling Girl Scout Cookies to her Auntie on the phone and writing her order down on the chalk door in our kitchen.
It's a little hard to read but it says Do-Si-Do's, Samoa's and Thin Mints....
Then the part that brings a smile to my face are those little circles all lined up off to the left of the picture.
That's her trying to figure out how much her Auntie owes her.
She knows that each box cost $4, so she knows she has to draw 3 groups of 4 and VOILA....she came up with $12...YES!! She is learning something in school! #SuperProudMommyMoment
