Swirling around in my head....

  • I'd like Baby C to try tennis one year.
  • I think a child should try everything once
  • I'm lucky that I know I can pack edamames, hummus or black beans in Baby C's lunch for snack
  • There's a older woman about 62 years of age in my Visual Basics class so I'm not the only female nerd
  • I hate it when I sleep in the guest/spare room with Baby C as it mean one more bed to make in the morning
  • I did my October menus on September 26th...I'm still super proud of myself
  • I need to compare prices for airline tickets and buy some. I hate price shopping.
  • I want to try and do "Ten on Tuesday" in video format soon
  • I follow a blogger who sounds so different on video than they look it always catches me off guard
  • Listening to "Park Avenue: Money, Power and the American Dream" I hope I'm not upset when I'm done.
  • We went to see Baby C's god mother, we haven't seen her in a while, she was trying to fight alcohol (i know it doesn't sound right but it sounds better like that to me) and I didn't always like taking Baby C over there but I knew it was important. I'm so happy to see her doing so much better it felt like old times.
  • Someone putting candles on someones cake...Red Velvet with Cream Cheese Frosting...it was so good.

  • Wondering what all the hype about Breaking Bad is...going to check it out
  • Scandal was fantastic last night
  • Hmm didn't I just mention wanting to give up tv for a while :(
  • I didn't go to my Visual Basic class last night as I was tired and had stomach discomfort, I hate that I lay in bed for hours but still didn't go to sleep until midnight.
  • Only in America would a segment about the TV Show Scandal come on before the segment about the government shut down LOL
  • I have class on Halloween...I'm totally bummed...I hope Big C takes loads of good pictures.
  • Since they laid of 35 people there are so many more spaces in the parking lot it's sad
  • I usually retreat to my car during lunch to read my book, sleep or watch Netflix. The row that I normally park in at least 4 others are in their car during lunch as well. As a company I'd want to know why most of my employees sit in their car for lunch...not sure what I'd tell them if they asked me though.
  • Did Jimmy Kimmel really go out onto the street asking about "Obama Care" vs "Affordable Care Act" most said they are interested in "Affordable Care Act" but NOT "Obama Care" I thought this was hilarious
  • I don't fully understand the ins and out of politics but I'm not sure I'm a fan of being fined if I elect to NOT have health insurance. And if I do sign up for health insurance is it going to cost me the same amount each month as the guy next door who smokes a pack of cigarettes as day?
  • Baby C's Girl Scout Troop is selling magazines and snacks. I hate pushing things on people unless it's Girl Scout cookies and then people just flock to us without asking.
  • I'm interested to know why that woman drove into the US Capitol barricade with her 18 month old daughter in the car. I saddens me to know she suffered from mental illness and postpartum, it's sad that there are some illness that aren't as evident as a amputated leg.
  • As much as I need to desperately loose weight i don't feel so bad knowing I've only gained 5lbs since this time last year.
  • I had $45 in Banana Republic coupons and $15 in Anne Taylor coupons and I managed to get 5 pieces of clothing and only paid $18 out of my own pocket. I was very happy.

  1. Both my daughters did tennis classes when they were younger. They really enjoyed them. My 19 year old plays badminton now instead, but I think the tennis helped her hand/eye co-ordination.

    Damn the cake looks good!

  2. Girl Scout cookies AND World's Finest Chocolate Bars are the easiest things in the world to sell.

Will Baby C try her hand at boxing? I always wanted to be a boxer. Isn't that crazy. Still would like that I guess.

    1. I'm not sure if she'd try boxing. We've asked her about a martial art and she's never interested. We were talking about next year just signing her up so she can at least try a martial art...if she doesn't like it after she's done then she doesn't have to try it again.
