What did you once love to do, but now hate?

I used to love to paint...I don't mean oil paint but rather, house painting. I loved watching the walls change to a different shade and look all bright and new. You feel compelled to keep a newly painted area neat and clean, compelled to rush out and buy accessories or compelled to spend more time in the "new" space.

I hate it now. Only because as the years have gone on, I've become more and more anal, more of a perfectionist and it drives me batty when the line that divides the ceiling and the wall is NOT perfectly straight!!!! And I mean perfectly. To me it's like walking into a room and seeing a crooked picture hanging on the wall...don't you feel the sense and urge to straighten it?? Or maybe that's just me!! :0) Tee hee

Baby C will be 6 months soon and she's trying to get her butt in the air to begin a crawl. So in a few days we're getting new carpet installed in the house and we just HAD to paint before they came. We've only painted ONE room in the house since we moved in 3 years ago...we've had the best of intentions and even picked out the paint colors numerous times but continually procrastinated when it came to applying the paint to the walls. The days are counting down until the carpet comes and now we're deligently working around the clock to have every room painted before then.

Big C painted the guest room last night so we only have the master bedroom left to paint...thank god. And all for this little one to crawl on a clean carpet.

Yes here she is again with those infamous "bows" in her head...
