All you scrappers out there please tell me where you buy your scrap supplies.
1. Do you buy at a big chain like Michaels, AC Moore or Hobby Lobby
2. Do you buy at a local scrapbooking store
3. Do you order online? If so where, this is the list of online places I have thus far:
I asked my Unpubbed Team the same question and I got a wealth of knowledge back so now I'm asking you guys.
Also what is your favorite and least favorite place to shop for supplies and why?

Links I'm gathering from comments:
I there. I love when people ask me this question. And for no particular reason...I just do :-).
ReplyDeleteI buy a majority of my supplies from Michaels, Hobby Lobby and JoAnns. However, I sometimes get things from Target, The Scrapbook Clearance Center and most recently, from the new Archivers. The LSS that was near me, recently closed.
I don't normally buy things on line...as I want them right THEN. But the times that I have, it's been from KMA (Keeping Memories Alive) and Stamp Attic.
Other than on-line, I can't think of anywhere that I don't like to buy supplies from.
By the way, I just clicked on your link for luv2scrapbook, and they're gone/closed. Just FYI...
ReplyDeleteHi Melanie! I just ordered my first kit ever from Scrapbook Lover's Dream - I've been wanting some Love Elsie stuff and you can't get it in Canada. I also wanted to support them seeing as they are supporting us at Unpubbed. I think you need to look at the kits on each kit club and decide if you like the style of the kit maker. I know Jenni Bowlin has one that is REALLY popular and there is a Cupcake one too (made by our current famer). Hope this helps! Have a wonderful day! Kim
ReplyDeleteI love Creative Memories.
ReplyDeleteAnd you should shop at my site LOL

I normally just frequent my lss. I may go to mikes or acmoore from time to time, but not often.
ReplyDeleteI usually shop at Michaels and AC Moore. If I do go online I go to apeakintoyesterday.com I would have to say that my least favorite place to shop is online becase I am a person who likes to be able to touch what I am buying and see it right then not online.
ReplyDelete1. Do you buy at a big chain like Michaels, AC Moore or Hobby Lobby?
ReplyDeleteSometimes, but not often. There is an Archivers comming here this summer. I can't wait.
2. Do you buy at a local scrapbooking store?
90% of everything I buy comes from my LSS.
3. Do you order online? If so where?

Hey girl,
ReplyDeleteI generally go to my LSS. I have gotten things from Joanns and Micheals too. I actually loooove to shop online. My fave spots are:
www.thescrapbookstand.com
www.poppyink.com
www.imaginisce.com
making memories
I like to get kits online and essentials in stores. Now I can tell you that I don't do lots of shopping because I stock up on supplies at the scrapbook expos. I go to 2 a year. check it out at www.scrapbookexpo.com
Great question!
ReplyDeleteI really try and buy at my LSS if I can! I'm on the DT at one of them and, besides, I like to support locally-owned stores.
But, if I can't find what I need there (and, let's face it, they don't have everything!), I usually go to Hobby Lobby. I prefer it over Michaels. My HL has better choices and they have their 50% sales every week. This week's was 50% off papers and albums, and you can't beat thta!
I have orderd a few times online, but not much. I prefer touching my scrap stuff before I buy it! lol
LSS, all the way. I've ordered online only twice.
ReplyDeleteI'm very much a touch and feel, hafta see to buy kinda person.
I only buy at Hobby Lobby or Jo-anns if it's on sale. I got an awesome deal on some Heidi Swapp at Jo-anns in MI last week. I'm talking 97 cent ghost shapes!!
:) Hope your polling helps.
Chrissy
