I know Halloween is over but I had to share

I know Halloween is over but I've never cut a pumpkin before. The last few years Big C has done it. But I wanted to do it this year with Baby C and I want to toot my own horn as I think it came out pretty good:



Now I'm trying to think what we do in England as to why I've never cut one...I know we're big on Guy Fawkes and bonfires but I don't remember pumpkins.

Ok I'm off to go and check on the little one and pray the only thing she's biting is her pineapples that I packed for snack time.

    You did a GREAT job on the pumpkin! Y'all didn't carve turnips in England did you? I read that in some book. Maybe the did it in Ireland. I dunno LOL

    That pumpkin rocks! LOL at the other comment about turnips. My in-laws always tell me that they carved turnips. How on earth do you scoop out the center?

    I've lived in the US all my life and I've NEVER carved a pumpkin. So you're one step ahead of me :-).
