Swim the summer away....

On the drive in to work this morning I passed a local college and saw a long, long line of kids that I assumed were registering for dorms or waiting to get into the dorms.

It brought such a smile to my face, I remember those days like they were yesterday and I still have to say that they were the best years of my life.

It was an age where you were grown enough to decide what time you went to bed but not grown enough to have to pay bills....it was the best.....ahhhh

I could dream away about college for hours!!

This little one is enjoying the heck out of her summer. We went to our friends house in Warren, NJ for lunch Saturday and once again she had a ball in the water...

She had the best time jumping off the diving board:

Who knew all she needed was a 50 cent bucket and she'd be fine!

She certainly knows how to relax:

She got the cutest musical tea set from Aly, it plays "I'm a little teapot" when she pours the kettle.

And the cutest girly book from Aly's mom, Mrs Regina, she truly is a blessed child.

Mrs Regina and and Aly.

I feel like I spent all weekend making these parfaits.....

I saw a picture of one in a magazine or newsletter last week and thought that Baby C would love eating her fruit in a fancy glass. Little did I know she'd love it sooo much that I'd make FOUR over a two day weekend!!!

We caught the canoe races this Sunday down at the Nautical Mile which was fun. I wish it hadn't been so cloudy and then the turn out would have been better. But it was still warm and we had a fun time watching people capsize!! I was amazing to see how quickly some of these people got out the gate, they paddled so fast I thought their arms would snap.

They had a family event but Baby C wanted no part of the canoes...maybe we should have asked her BEFORE she saw all the boats capsizing!! :0)

Big C finally went back to work today after being out on disability for the last 8 months. I praying he has a good day and makes it through the day without too much pain. He should sleep like a baby tonight...hmm it's his turn to do Baby C tonight, maybe I'll be nice and let him have the evening off!!!

Ohhh must dash just read that there's a Banana Republic app for the iPhone!!
