Nothing much....

# I'm exhausted right now, and for no reason at all. I just feel as if I haven't slept in days and for the last three days I've actually been taking my multi vitamins at night, maybe the vitamin is killing me.

#The Chinese guy in my office always talks in a screaming voice every conversation he has, he virtually shouts as if he's on a long distance cell phone talking to someone in Australia with crappy reception, it's agonizing to listen to, and yet he's the sweetest guy.

#A lady from work asked me "twice" to bring in some of my Slow Cooker Red Beans and Barley that I made so she can try it. I feel weird bringing in home cooked food for someone at work. Even though my family might love my cooking someone else might not. I heard her when she asked me the first time but I just brushed it off as a nice gesture because we were talking about it, but when she asked for it a second time...yikes....I'm scared of the "after eating nice gesture response" as opposed to the "true feelings response".

#It's Fleet Week in the city this weekend I'd love to go and actually see the quarters that Big C spent years of his Navy life....I know he'd get a kick out of explaining it all to Baby C. We'll see if we go or not, I'm ready for a "low key put your feet up and rest" kind of weekend, maybe pot some plants on the front porch.

# We've had our house in the market for a while now, then we went to a birthday party of one of Baby C's classmates and it was in an area we'd never heard of before. It felt like it was an untapped gem tucked away in a bigger town. It rejuvenated our desire to get our house sold. I came up with a plan and I'm about to look for storage to stash away half of the crap in our house so it looks more spacious for sellers. I'd love to buy a house in this untapped gem of a neighborhood that we found.

#I set up an RSS Feed in google reader for houses for sale in the UGN (untapped gem neighborhood) and about 9 in our budget came back....one was described as "1920'S Colonial close to the river" ..."Surrounded with towering mature trees"..."king master bedroom with views"..."beach rights".

In the front yard there's an old water well

The attic bedroom has skylights and sliding doors to a deck

I'm in love with this old brick path in the back yard

And this is the master bedroom view they were talking about
#Aren't those pictures enough to ignite a flame under your butt and get in motion?? But now that I think about that first picture I hope it's just for show and they're not on well water!!!

#I can't wait for all the oreos in the house to be gone, 1. because then I can stop eating them, 2. it's one more box of processed crap gone, 3. because I can't throw away food and 4. I really want to try making some ginger snap cookies from scratch but I don't want TWO types of cookies in the house that's just nuts!

#The Roasted Snapper Fillet that I cooked Tuesday by the way was excellent, I paired it with pureed cauliflower mixed with mash potatoes and baked with a smidgen of shredded mozzarella on top, and a spinach salad topped with home made mango salsa. I'll definitely cook it again.

#Why did the first fish market want $19.99/lb for the red snapper and Wild By Nature only wanted $9.99/lb is there such a thing as "free range" fish now???

#I'm doing this for dinner tonight Pasta with Italian Chicken Sausage, Peppers and Escarole I'll let you know how it comes out. I also found out that the lady who does the Skinny Taste Blog that i get all my recipes from lives 5 minutes from me....who would have thought it.

I'm rambling...let me stop.
