Not making any promises but at least I blogged...

I made Raspberry Cream Cheese Crumble last night...it had way too many steps but it came out good. If I eat chicken one more time this month I might boycott food. I watched Oprah interview Jennifer Hudson last night and Jennifer said her mother always told her and her siblings to "Always Follow Your Dreams." I keep wondering to myself what do you follow if you've never had a dream? I started rigorously looking for a job in September I'm hoping I find one soon. I just LOVE staying home with Baby C...I guess my "dream" would be to able to stay home or find a perfect job "working from home". That reminds me I must play the lottery today. I have to keep reminding myself to take time for myself...hence why I'm blogging right now.  I ran 3 miles on the treadmill just now once again trying to force myself to take time for me. I should ask my mother if I was passionate about anything when I was younger, maybe I can make that my dream and follow it. The only things I'm passionate about are my family. I could work on them for forever and enjoy it. I was blessed with a new friend last year and I'm constantly reminded of what a blessing she truly is and how awesome god is. My new friend gave me a gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure for my birthday and I've yet to use it. I have 3 healing scares on my hands right now...I feel as if I'm constantly busy and getting anything done to my hands would be a waste. I guess I could do just a pedicure. I went for an interview a few weeks ago and now the woman from HR and I are playing phone tag. I have no idea if it's a YES, NO, NEGOTIATE. I should be looking for a job right now but I'm blogging telling myself that if I look then I don't have faith that the phone will ring and the job will be mine. Baby C is working my nerves the last few weeks. I think she believes that we're equal or that she runs this house. If I tell her to hurry we're going to be late I think she actually starts to move slower.  I need to always follow through with punishments. I'm a slacker. I hate my hair. I just don't know what to do with it. I actually scrapped last night at midnight of course. I finished a page from about 2 years ago. I hate the page but at least it's done. I watched an episode of Catfish on MTV the other day and I wonder to myself how many of my "online friends" aren't who they portray themselves to be. I feel I'm pretty real. I am what you see. I love who I am but not what I look like....hence the running. I'm in a Database Design and Development Class...I HATE going to class but love the knowledge. I need to rethink my desire for a my masters....I have no desire to go back to school full time. I'd rather spend the time with my family...it's such a catch 22. Why did I do all the laundry last night but the laundry basket is full this morning? Baby C loves our new "Count Down to Christmas Tradition" I'm surprised how quickly she's taken to it. I'm trying to figure out if I want to continue forward with this blog or fill in the months that I missed. I keep thinking about if I ever print this thing to give to Baby C she'll wonder what happened the year of 2012. :0) I'm in love with the show Scandal....I got intrigued because of all the chatter on Twitter. Oprah said she started watching it because of what she read on Twitter as well. I wonder if Twitter will be around 10 years from now? I wonder if Google Reader has a limit? I know all the blogs I haven't read have totally reached it's limit in my Google reader. I think I'm done for now...I hope I can check back in tomorrow. How did you guys fair from Hurricane Sandy? For us the water stopped at the drive way to the house next door. For those that don't believe in god...."Is everything in life just a coincidence?" We were blessed compared to many around us. Our storage unit got hit badly but our lives and our house are fine. We had at least 9 people staying in our house at one time and other coming and going during the day. It was so much fun.
