Bubble Engine Fire Truck!

When you're 4 years old, there's nothing better in life than a new "Bubble Engine Fire Truck!" from Nanny!

Aside from the joy of the bubble truck...I actually went to the gym on Tuesday and did a sculpting class. In my head as I type that I still think I should have been sitting behind a potters wheel bending the heck out of piece of clay.

Alas the potters wheel would have left me the ability to walk without bowed legs right now. I honestly believe I did about 100 squats in that darn Sculpting Class and now it hurts to even squat to pee!!!

I can't believe it's been 3 days and it still hurts this much, not sure if I over did, or I'm getting old, or I'm just a pathetic wimp who's complaining too much.

But whatever the issue,... I'm still going back Sunday to try their Step Class!! LOL

I have no idea what happened to Step Class, it seems as if it got eradicated the minute Zumba came on the scene. Poor step, how I love thee step! I love desperately trying to go back and forth over a plastic board knowing each and every time that landing flat on your face is inevitable!!!

Hmm and lets talk about that Zumba shall we. Well let me explain my experience with Zumba thus far as I've only attended a total of 4 classes so far.

My first ever class was from an African American male who could have been Leroy from Fame's brother hooked on steroids!!

My last experience at Zumba was from Tina Fey's sister who should have taken up anything else in life that didn't require music!!

The two classes were sooooo very different. One I need a red bull the other I can do with my eyes closed!!!

  1. Oh, I remember that feeling of leaving the gym so very sore. And then still being in pain days later, I find that my body just needs to adjust to a new workout style. That's why it's so important to change your routine, so your body doesn't get used to just one thing. You burn more calories that way. I LOVE step and spin classes, those are my gym favourties. Hope you're not in pain for too much longer. Enjoy the weekend! xx
