I've been writing this post for weeks now....and I had no idea that I was slowly using my identity and it's all my own fault. I'm finding it so hard to figure out what would make ME happy versus what would make my FAMILY happy.
I finally made a pinterest board for MY bucket list...I only made it to 6 items but I figured it was better than nothing.
- I'd love to go somewhere hot by myself! Where I can just wake up when I want and do what I want all day!
- Have no idea but for years I've wanted to take a long train ride to Boston.
- I'd love to visit my old home state of Maryland and enjoy the day walking around downtown Annapolis again. I'd probably miss it so much I'd want to move back!
- I'd love to have a "Night on the Town in NYC" with a limo service. I'm not quite sure what I'd want to do in the city as I'm not really a club person, maybe dinner, drinks and a lounge bar or something.
- I'm not a real wine drinker, I tend to like the cheap wine that no real wine connoisseur would drink, but I'd still like to go on a Wine Tour in Long Island....I'd have to buy a big floppy summer hat of course.
- Since college I feel so disconnected from friends I thought I'd have for life. I'd love to go and visit a few starting with my dear friend Jackye in Pearland, Texas!

I am very impressed that you have a bucket list and it is a very nice bucket list. I see a lot of them but I rarely want what other people want. Actually I think I am living my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteI love your bucket list kudos to you. My motto this year was to live life and allow life to touch me in a good way. Your list to me is that......living!
ReplyDeletePost as you live those items!
I love this idea! As Moms, we do forget that summer is supposed to be fun for us too. I hope you get to do some of the things on your bucket list!
ReplyDeleteNYC sounds really nice. I hope to travel there, eventually. The summer will include summer classes in the evening for myself and the usual visit to New Orleans for Essence Festival next month. A couple visits to the beach, Memphis trip. Vegas, hopefully. And the usual road trip to Houston and Atlanta to visit friends and family.
ReplyDeleteAnd much air conditioner usage here in the Deep South. Lol.
