- Big C went to Maryland last weekend for the Jazz Festival...I was left home with Baby C and she was like an angel while her father was gone...what's up with that? He bought me back a t-shirt and while I should be grateful I'm still wondering if he didn't see all the concert t-shirts I JUST threw out.
- Baby C finally had her last baseball game...and I'm a firm believer in telling the truth no matter how old you are...if you sucked...I'll let you know and if you did good I'll let you know that too. Well she sucked...after getting hit in the face with the ball 4 games ago she's now scared to even swing at the ball and it drives me insane..."Get Back Up On That Horse And Ride Missy!"
- My dearest friend "Aunty Aly" drove all the way from NJ to see Baby C's last game, even though she didn't even swing once. And we went out to eat...I hadn't been down on the Nautical Mile since Sandy alas the restaurant I wanted to eat at never opened back up and had a big "For Sale" sign.
- I made Grilled Thai Sweet and Spicy Shrimp Pizza and not being a seafood person I was very surprised how yummy this came out.
- I have no clue what the world did before Pinterest. I made dinner via Pinterest (see above), I made headband holders via Pinterest (see below) and I even get to add that expensive Bobbi Brown Hydrating Facial Creme to my "Gifts For Me" board which make perfect stocking stuffers for Big C without even having to think about it.
- I'm still semi mad at Big C for showing up over an hour late for my and Baby C's opticians appointment yesterday... I was so upset I didn't even ask him why he was late and he didn't offer any excuses so in all it worked out without incident. LOL
- My iPhone is all but ready to call it quits, and I doubt it will even be able to handle the new IOS 7 steam will probably come out of the top when I update it in the fall. But I do love the Windows Commercial where they compare the Windows Tablet to the iPad and Windows keeps saying to the iPad "Oh yeah you can't do that...." Not being able to multitask does drive me batty...
- School is about to be over for Baby C and I want to take swift bat to someone's head, the last week they are in school Monday through Thursday. Monday through Wednesday they have an early dismissal at 11AM and Thursday an early dissmisal at 12 noon. Someone please tell me what a working family is supposed to do with those hours? Either you take an entire week off, or you take an entire week of half days, or you take your child out of school for the entire week and encur abscenes, or you complain on your blog where no one can hear you! LOL
- My Daisy Girl Scouts bridged to Brownies...Baby C was so excited...I forgot how it's the simple things in life that make little girls happy.
- I'll have to finish this last one tomorrow...

1-sounds like something my(& probably MOST) husbands would do. :) sweet & thoughtful=more laundry.
ReplyDelete2- hilarious!! Not the part about her getting hit with the ball, but the rest of it, so funny.
3- that makes me sad. Crazy how these huge events are swept aside as new ones take center stage, yet so many people are still dealing with the aftermath.
4- YUM
5- Ditto.
6- Probably for the best. :)
7- brilliant marketing!!!
8- that's just dumb. Surely that puts a majority of the parents in a bind!
9- I loved Girl Scouts!! I hope she loves Brownies. Good times, good times.
Does Baby C have something on her head in the picture or is that something on the wall behind her?
ReplyDeleteI loved being in the Brownie Scouts and The girl Scouts.
My dad literally made me get back on a horse and ride it after a terrible experience but I do not like riding horses to this day. I like looking at them but not riding them.
I bet "Aunty Aly" is a lot of fun, she looks it in the photo!
ReplyDeleteBefore I forget, just so you know, I didn't throw my chain across the room in a temper tantrum, it was on top of my jacket and I grabbed it and forgot about the chain on top. Silly me. :D
I like this idea of Ten on Tuesday, I may have a go at it too. Is that okay? I'll link back to you of course.
Not sure why my last comment showed as "anonymous." This is Don, though, just in case it does the same on this post. Your friend is a really good friend to travel that far to watch your daughter's game. So cool. I'm laughing again where you spoke of Baby C not swinging after being hit in the face by the ball a few weeks back. I don't blame her! Lol. In fact, I give her credit for still putting on the uniform.
ReplyDeleteThe shrimp pizza dish looks delicious.
