Catholic School

We went to look at the cutest little catholic school for Baby C on Sunday.

It was so cute how they conducted their open house for the school, a little freckled face boy named Sean about 10 years old I'd say, showed us around the school.

He was so polite, so well behaved, quite knowledgeable for his age, keen, and kind of excited and proud in boyish way.

He asked us what grades we were interested in seeing, and explained which stop was next before we arrived.

His presentation alone made me fall in love with the place.

The only thing I was a little sad about was the fact that Kindergarten don't wear uniforms. They don't start uniforms at this particular location until 1st grade. But hey we'll live!

It was Big C's birthday on Saturday, he's another year wiser........yeah right, another year "smart mouthed" if you ask me!

I gave him money for a new computer, he totally hosed his doing way to much burning on it. I also drove him to a Banana Republic that I knew was having a good sale (I swear that mans a shopaholic when it comes to clothes).

We also went out for dinner at The Stone Turtle. It was a restaurant recommended by a friend that seems to offer a wide variety or organic meat, which I found delightful...
"The dinner menu features exotic meats like organic, free-range buffalo and South Texas antelope, but there are also more familiar Big Plates with a twist like the Green Tea Poached Wild Scottish Salmon and the Chipotle Apricot Roasted Half-Chicken (free range), served over a cheddar maple waffle."

  2. I cannot believe a child would sit still for a hair do like that. How long did it take? It is very cute. My granddaughter attends Catholic school and she absolutely loves it. She does get to wear uniforms which makes it very nice for her mom.

Wonderful birthday celebration for your sweetie. Does he spoil you as much on yours?

She'll be starting her life as a Catholic school girl...I gotta tell you, it's true that we're the worst! lol! It's nice when they get to wear a uniform and feel like they belong. But either way she'll look super cute! How does she feel about starting school? xx
