We've all done our fair share of bitching and complaining about paying for over a 1000 channels and still having nothing to watch....
I honestly can't wait for the day when Big C comes to his senses and cuts the cable for good. I honestly don't see it ever happening in my life time but, a girl can dream.
But while the thought swirls around in my head I do ponder what shows I'd miss...and a new one springs to mind....
The Fabulous Beekman Boys, in fact I'd probably miss a handful of shows on the Planet Green channel, but I'd soon get over it.
I've never been one into "Greys Anatomy", or "Sex in the City", while every once in a while I'll partake in the hypocrisy of "Survivor" you'll never find me rushing home to catch it. The mere idea of "Big Love" truly makes me want to ask the cable company to pay me to watch it, and the train wreck that inevitably ensues in every episode of "The Real Housewives", no matter what location it is, is enough for us all to be embarrassed by.
Right now I'm obsessed with audio books and the likes, at least until they make me pay for being a member of the "public library".

Oh my goodness, you are right up Adams street. He doesn't go in for those trashy shows, he's strictly Mr Discovery Channel and Animal Planet. Whilst I love those shows, Greys, The Real Housewives, Glee. I do need help! lol! But I don't usually watch it on tv, I got rid of our cable subscription in preparation for when I move. But I do watch online. I love the fact that you can do that.
ReplyDeleteI've never really liked audio books, for me, you can't beat the feel and smell of a book. I love looking at all the creases in the seam from bending it back and forth. Ever since I was a child I've been a big reader.
Never heard of the Fab Beekman Boys, we don't get it over here. Maybe when I move I'll become a fan! xx
Hmmm. I never heard of the Fab Beekman Boys. I always learn something new from you.
