I've come to realize that the scariest part of this entire ordeal is when the house creaks late at night.
I have no idea why a home so old still creaks...hasn't it settled already?
I can't even sleep with the window open, scared that someone will climb on the roof, cut the screen and climb in, even though the windows only big enough for a child to climb through but still.
I bought a 1500 piece jigsaw puzzle to keep me busy, but it just aids my insomnia that I never used to have....I guess I miss Big C more than I could ever have imagined.
And I don't know how Beyonce thinks she's Miss Independent!!! Let her sleep at my house for one night and sing that song!!! LOL
I totally feel ya, Stacy worked out of town when we first got married and I hated it. He goes out of town sometimes now and I still don't like it.
ReplyDeleteand he totally IS one of the nicest men you will ever meet! He may look rough n' tough but he IS a sweetie pie!
and as for my rant on the DC sniper, you know I always welcome differing opinions as long as everyone respects everyone else. That is one of the things that makes America great!
Hugs my friend!!! May Big C hurry home to you VERY SOON!
Sorry!! I hope you feel more comfortable very soon. :)
ReplyDeleteWe mirror each other w/ our bouts of insomnia. These are the times where I do most of my blogging and writing. And what not.
ReplyDeleteI have a Beyonce post on deck, Sunday.
Insomnia is an awful thing to have. I sometimes have it and I usually end up watching tv the entire night and then hurting the next day trying to stay awake at work. When is Big C due home?
ReplyDeleteI live in an old house and at night it is awful with the floors creaking and the doors. I think the sound is intensified at night because it is so quiet.
Awwwwww girl I've been there before! Hope everything is better soon!
