Filling up space

* I left work with a roaring headache yesterday, and still had to stop at the grocery store for a few odds and ends for dinner. I mean who has "chipotle chilis in adobo sauce"  and Large La Tortilla Factory Low Carb tortillas laying around in their cupboards? Not I! When I finally got home I began getting all the ingredients out for Cheesy Zucchini Enchiladas only to find out that I didn't even have the main ingredient "Zucchini"! I know I bought it but who knows where it went between the store and home. Thank god for good men! While I sat down and got a cup of tea (yes us British swear tea solves everything) Big C ran to the store for the lost zucchini and dinner was totally worth the wait!!!

* Big C is picking up Baby C from my job today and I'm leaving work a little early to head to the city for dinner with a friend. I think this is the 3rd Friday in a row that I've put on my big girl panties and hung out...I won't get too excited, less next Friday I'm at home folding socks and in bed by 8pm!

* The date has been set for camping and I'm very excited. Fresh air and waking up to the sounds of the Delaware River, I can't wait. We've invited a BUNCH of first time campers this year so we're bound to have our hands full, and it'll be interesting to see who sticks it out the full three days two nights and even better who signs up for it next year!!!

*I started Jillian Michaels: 30 Day Shred I'm only 3 days in as my analness wouldn't allow me to start a 30 day anything unless it was the 1st of the month! So far I really like it as you don't do any exercise for more than 30 seconds or possibly 60 seconds and the entire thing is done in 25 minutes! Now that's my kind of exercise!!! I get bored doing anything continuously for too long. I start finding excuses for why I should stop, but at 6am my brain can't put together a complete thought in 30 seconds so by the time I think about stopping we're on to the next move. I pray I keep this one up for at least the 30 days.

*I'm in love with cooking from scratch and from all natural non processed ingredients....it sure takes longer but it taste that much better and warms the cockles of my heart. Only 5 more oreos left and that's one less pre packaged junk food item gone from the house. But I must say those oreos are tasting good as they go down. But I doubt I'll miss them when these Angel Whispers take their place, and guess what....I can read ALL the ingredients in these cookies!!

*I love camping. It will be interesting with first timers! LOL!
    * I LOVE that workout. Seriously, keep doing it. Your fitness level will really improve, even if you stay at level 1. I'm thinking of starting again. I did this and 2 of her other workouts for 8 months last year. She knows what she's doing!
    *those look good too!

  3. You really are on a roll with the home cooking. Cooking has never interested me but I wish it did. I love all the passion people have around creating new dishes. The only passion I have is around eating food.

  4. I will be trying BOTH recipes. nomnomnom. Do you have any fun recipes that involve honey? I'm wanting to use more honey from the "superfood" aspect and to see if it REALLY helps with seasonal/local allergies, but I don't really like it beyond pb&honey sandwiches or honey in tea. Not British, so the tea isn't daily for me. Or even monthly, really. This week I'm tackling some homemade bread!! Going to put honey IN it and ON it. :D
