I'm making a list of do's and don'ts for the garden next year...so far I have:
- Next year write down the date you planted everything. DUH!! I believe I planted the vegetables out back May 14th or 15th so 10 weeks from then (July 16th) the potatoes "should" need digging up!
- Next year plant the pumpkin seeds right in the dirt don't mess around with seed pots inside.
- Newt year I'm buying that black mesh stuff that lets the water in but stops the weeds from growing....I don't think any explanation is needed on that one.
- I'm totally eyeing up a composter for next year, why pay the landscaper to clean them up only for him to go sell them as compost! LOL
- My cucumber which thrived last year isn't doing anything this year...there's no way I can live a summer with no cucumbers so I'll have to go and buy a mature plant after swim class tonight.
- Next year save your old potatoes and garlic and throw them right in the dirt out back.

ReplyDeleteI will make the extreme sacrifice and devour...I mean eat all of your prepackaged foods. I would gladly have done so with the Oreos. ;-)
I am eating a ton of fruits and veggies now and cutting out high calorie juices and starches. I need to move more though.
