Once again I dug deep and found a picture of my OLDEST friend. We've been friends since we were 3 years old!!! Sometimes I can hardly believe it. I wish I'd been able to find one of us from when we were 3, I'll have to dig deeper.

I think Ella and I were about 13 or 14 years old when we took this picture in one of those little photo books. We were thick as thieves, we didn't do anything alone, we went to the same school, we played at each others houses and we traveled together. Ella still lives in England, some days I feel like I abandoned all my friends between England and Kansas and it makes me sad, but at least most of our relationships still live on.
I haven't seen her in 4 years now, when she came to New York and got to meet my little one, alas I've never met her two boys in person, Sam and Harry (such lovely British names) and they're both growing so fast.

It's so beautiful to have frineds that have been with us for such a long time. I'm blessed to have a few of those and they are truly dear to my heart. Lovely post.

Awww wow, that's a long friendship! BTW - I love the picture, it so puts me back to my early teen years!
