Would you be offended???

So Baby C is 5 months now and pushing herself up on all fours...therefore she's getting ready to crawl!! So we're getting new carpet installed at the end of the month to give her something softer to crawl on. I'm very excited!!!

Anyway, I was looking through a magazine and I came across this door mat and I wondered how many people would be offended, if they came across it at someones door.
Of course I'm going to buy it regardless to help keep down the dirt tracked in from shoes that baby C will want to grab and put in her mouth. Talking of baby C here are my favorite pics from the month of september!!!

  1. Oh my goodness, she is getting so big and just the cutest thing. You should be proud.
Shoot no, I wouldn't be offended. I'd rather see a nice little "sign" like that than have to come inside and be worried about if I should've taken my shoes off. Ya know, I think it's almost a given these days though, that people do take their shoes off. Just about everyone that comes to my house does it. Not because I've ever asked them to. Hmmm, may have something to do with the new hardwoods we have. But regardless, they've always done it.
I think the mat is cute! Get me one!!! :)

  3. I think I'd rather have the host just ask me to take off my shoes.

Or if I see everyone else removing their shoes I would do it as well.

  6. Don't worry "Me" whoever you are.

When you come to my house I will graciously ask you to remove your shoes!! :0)

Would you be the same anonymouse who asked why I don't respond to comments? By any chance?

  7. I think the mat is a bit rude as stated, however, if it said "Please" or "Thanks" it would be more acceptable. What about people with dirty soxs, athletics or stinky feet? Ugh. I have a throw rug in front of my door but since we walk around in soxs most everyone remove their shoes.
