Samaritans Purse

I had spoken to my friend Kansas Queen about doing Samaritans Purse together and of course even though I brought the idea up she was done before me!! Way before me!!

Then for some reason I asked Big C if he'd like to join in. If he'd like to do a box for a boy while I do a box for a girl...and surprisingly he said "yes".

I say "surprisingly" not because he's a selfish, cheap old man...but more so because he usually goes off on a sermon about how many children need help in America and why are people always helping other countries when the home front needs tending to. I always understand his argument but I guess I find it easier to help other countries for some reason...kind of like there are tons of kids in America that want to be adopted but our red tape is so thick that it's easier to go to another country to adopt a child.

And do you see the smile on this little girls face...oh I want to run and go make my box now!!! But thankfully Big C and I are going to Target tonight to buy everything and hopefully have it in the mail by this weekend.
